A new residential development is slated to begin construction this fall near the State College Regional Airport in Benner Township. University Park Townes, a 17-building townhouse development spanning 15.7 acres, is set to include 146 residential units and up to 73 short-term rental/Airbnb units, according to Cade Pribula, the vice president of capital markets at Inch & Co.

Former Penn State quarterback Beau Pribula, who transferred to Missouri last spring, and former Nittany Lion tight end Adam Breneman have invested in the University Park Townes project. The extent of their investments was not disclosed, and the project is estimated to cost more than $47 million, according to Cade Pribula, the older brother of Beau.
