The historic Elmwood Mansion is receiving a makeover. The 186-year-old York County mansion at 400 Elmwood Boulevard is being remodeled by Inch & Co. Construction. The construction company is working on the property and plans to unveil the refurbished mansion in April, according to a news release.

The mansion will be the new home for Inch & Co. Real Estate and Inch & Co. Property Management divisions. The real estate team will occupy the first two floors and the property management team will be on the third floor of the mansion. 

York-based Gray Apple Design helped with the architectural and furnishing redesign with Inch & Co. Construction spearheading the renovations and buildout. "We really want to honor Elmwood Mansion's history and let the original architectural details shine through while appointing the space with clean lines and new textures" Gabrielle Messina of Gray Apple Design

Inch Properties LLC., purchased the property in January. The three-story, 6,500-square-foot mansion was previously owned by UPMC and put on the market in 2018 with a $1.1 million asking price.
