JOHN'S LANDSCAPING FOUNDED

In the early 1990s, John Sr. established John’s Landscaping, laying the groundwork for what would eventually grow into Inch & Co. What began as a small, family-run business focused on lawn care and basic landscaping services quickly earned a reputation for reliability, hard work, and personal attention to detail. This commitment to quality and service became the foundation on which future expansions and new ventures were built.

INCH AND CO. LANDSCAPING

In 2012, brothers Jeff and John officially took over the family business by purchasing John Sr.’s company. Rebranding it as Inch’s Landscaping, they carried forward the values instilled by their father while beginning to expand the scope of services. With fresh vision and renewed energy, Jeff and John started shaping the company into more than just a landscaping business—laying the foundation for what would soon become a broader construction and development enterprise.

INCH AND C0. PROPERTIES

Seeing opportunities beyond landscaping, Jeff and John created Inch’s Properties in 2014 as a dedicated real estate holding company. This move marked the brothers’ entry into property ownership and management, allowing them to acquire, develop, and oversee both residential and commercial real estate. What began with small investments quickly grew into a foundation for future large-scale developments. Inch’s Properties became the launching point for their transition from service providers to long-term community builders—establishing the financial and strategic backbone that would eventually support Inch & Co. Construction.

INCH AND CO. NATURAL FERTILIZATION

In 2016, the company expanded its landscaping services with the creation of Inch’s Natural Fertilization. Focused on environmentally friendly lawn and soil care, this division provided customers with sustainable solutions that promoted healthier landscapes. The addition reflected Jeff and John’s commitment to innovation and meeting client needs while continuing to grow the family brand.

GREEN TRADITIONS ACQUIRED

In 2018, Green Traditions, a respected lawn care company, was purchased and brought under Inch’s Natural Fertilization. This acquisition expanded service capabilities and strengthened the company’s presence in sustainable lawn and soil care. By integrating Green Traditions, Jeff and John continued to build on their vision of offering environmentally responsible solutions while growing the reach of their family brand.

INCH AND CO. CONSTRUCTION ESTABLISHED

Jeff and John launched Inch & Co. Construction, expanding their vision into large-scale building and development. Focused on both residential and commercial projects, the new division combined craftsmanship with innovation to deliver high-quality spaces that serve families, businesses, and communities. This step transformed Inch & Co. from a collection of service companies into a full-service developer and builder, solidifying its role as a new breed of builders in the region.

FIRST BUILD IN MARIETTA, PA

Inch & Co. Construction's debut multi-family project was the Riverside Foundry apartment and townhome complex, a signature development in Marietta, Pennsylvania—their first foray into large-scale residential builds. Situated on a reclaimed historical foundry site, the $27M project included 172 apartments, 12 townhomes, and extensive amenities like a clubhouse, fitness center, and riverfront access.

REGIONAL EXPANSION

Following the success of Riverside Foundry, Inch & Co. Construction accelerated its growth with several large-scale multi-family projects across Central Pennsylvania. In Hampden Township (Cumberland County), the company broke ground on a 120-unit apartment community, expanding its reach west of the Susquehanna River. At the same time, plans began for a 170-unit development in Mount Wolf (York County), strengthening their presence in their home region.

98 PENN PLACE IN ENOLA, PA

In April 2023, Inch & Co. Construction broke ground on 98 Penn Place, its most ambitious project to date. Located on a 37-acre site in Enola, this large-scale luxury community was designed to set a new standard for modern living in Central Pennsylvania. The project reinforces their commitment to creating not just housing, but vibrant, amenity-rich communities that enhance lifestyle and growth in the region.

WELLSPAN SPORTS COMPLEX

In September 2024, Inch & Co. broke ground on the WellSpan Sports Complex in North York, marking its first major step into civic and recreational development. Designed as a regional hub for health, fitness, and community, the state-of-the-art facility spans more than 243,000 square feet on a 13-acre site. The WellSpan Sports Complex highlights Inch & Co.’s diversification beyond housing, reinforcing its role as a builder of spaces that strengthen community connections and regional growth.

EXPANDING TO NORTH CAROLINA

Midland Pointe is an upcoming 240-unit multifamily community currently under development in Catawba County, North Carolina. Located near the shores of Lake Norman, this project marks Inch & Co.'s inaugural venture into the Carolinas, expanding their footprint beyond Central Pennsylvania. This project underscores Inch & Co.'s commitment to enhancing communities through thoughtful development and is expected to contribute positively to the local economy and housing market in the Lake Norman region.

CASCADE CAPITAL FUND LAUNCHED

In April 2024, Inch & Co. announced the creation of Cascade Capital Fund, a $20 million real estate investment fund designed to accelerate the company’s expansion in multi-family housing. The fund reflects Inch & Co.’s evolution from a regional builder into a capital-backed developer with the resources to pursue large-scale projects across multiple markets. Securing a pipeline for future growth and opened the door for broader partnerships, positioning Inch & Co. as a long-term leader in regional and out-of-state development.
